Drove creative and managed a team of ten people at this full-service marketing company specializing in entertainment. I supported campaigns across a broad spectrum of clientele, developing and implementing strategy for media companies such as HBO, Paramount, FX and Showtime, as well as Saia, Universal Pictures & Warner Media. I executive produced and wrote the COVID vaccination awareness campaign for The Greenshoots Foundation, which resulted in uptick of up to 9% in vaccination rates in counties around Arkansas and mid-sized markets across over a dozen other states. I also directed and produced award-winning Paramount+ campaigns for Inside the NFL and the streamer’s portfolio of soccer programming.

In this role, I executive produced, directed, and wrote documentaries and feature content for Showtime Championship Boxing and Shobox: The New Generation. Supervising a team of twenty producers, writers, and designers, I managed campaign and documentary budgets, deadlines, and production timelines for every piece of content produced in-house. I liaised with multiple freelancers and outside vendors on campaign shoots to develop and curate documentary pitches for Showtime Sports, guiding every project from idea to completion. Work includes All Access (two-time Sports Emmy-winner), Best of Boxing, and Epic Nights.

During my nineteen-year stint at HBO, I conceived, wrote, produced and directed content for major campaigns. Projects included Ballers, John Oliver, True Detective, Eastbound and Down, Entourage, 24/7, Hard Knocks, Real Sports, The Sopranos, The Wire, True Blood, and World Championship Boxing. I produced several documentaries for the network, including James Gandolfini: Tribute to a Friend, Assault in the Ring (2009 Sports Emmy: Best Documentary) and 24/7: Jimmy Johnson (2011 Sports Emmy: On-Air Promotional Announcement)
While there, I created several long-form promotional sports franchises including 2 Days, Portrait of a Fighter, and Cornered.

Street basketball legend Joe "The Destroyer" Hammond ruled the Big Apple blacktop in the early ‘70s. He dropped 50 points on Dr. J, pounded Pat Riley one-on-one, and turned down a $50,000 offer to play with the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers. In his prime, Joe had the potential to be an NBA All-Star. Unfortunately, drugs, jail, and ego got in the way. This narrative one-hour documentary, which received a New York Sports Emmy in 2005, is the tale of what could have been.

Black, Round and Groovy offers a quirky and loving look at a movement that continues to grow despite the death-knell of the digital age. This narrative one-hour documentary, which premiered in 2014, includes interviews, archival footage, and reenactments.
